Black licorice...you either love it or you hate it. Personally, we can't live without it. Our Snappy Black Licorice soap, an amazingly intoxicating hunk of loveliness, is chock full of anise essential oil for an appropriately strong licorice scent. We have been told (though we haven't actually tried, not being the hunting/fishing types ourselves) that fishermen and hunters use this soap to either remove nasty smells or mask their scent (hopefully not the same thing). On the other hand, we've also heard that bears go crazy for anise...so we'll leave that little decision up to you.

Those who enjoy this soap also like Cedar Sage & Pepper Soap and Chocolate Truffle Soap.

Just Like Jane soap lathers beautifully and rinses cleanly:

This soap is made from: Saponified oils of food grade olive, palm and coconut (with retained glycerin), anise essential oil, bamboo charcoal

Each of our 4 - 5 ounce bars is handmade in the USA in small batches, and hand-cut and hand-packaged with care by folks just like you. Our soap is paraben-free, sulfate-free and phthalate-free. Do not ingest.

Our Packaging: Recyclable or compostable packaging is critical to the future of our planet. Click here to learn more about Just Like Jane packaging goals.

You will love this if you like black licorice. It smells so good you'll want to eat it! :) Great for use at the kitchen sink.

I love the scent of this soap, but then I am also one of those people who love black licorice. The only problem with this soap is that is smells good enough to eat and makes me hungry for Good 'n Plenty! :) I use it in the kitchen.

Fragrance lasts!

The fragrance lasts until the bar of soap is gone, unlike some handcrafted soap. The Black Licorice is one of our favorites
